The Beyond the Game program, launching in March 2025, is designed to help young athletes prepare for life beyond sports by focusing on career exploration, education, and skill development. This exciting program provides participants with real-world opportunities and 

resources to build a strong foundation for their future.

• Real-World Opportunities:
  • Secure jobs for at least 20 participants.
  • Help 10 participants earn professional certifications (available for high school graduates).
  • Offer 50 participants the chance to experience a college visit.
  • Arrange 40 paid internships or job shadowing opportunities with local businesses.
• Workshops and Mentorship: Gain valuable insights from experts in education, business, and various career fields.
• Hands-On Experiences: Explore diverse career paths through direct engagement and practical learning.

• Orientation: Kicks off on March 9, 2025, at 222 6th Ave SW, Birmingham, AL 35211.
• Duration: March 2025 – December 2025.
• Eligibility: Former or current athlete age 14-21
